Curriculum Review & Development
Curriculum review and development are ongoing and essential to providing quality education in New Ulm Public Schools and to ensuring support of our mission statement.
About Our Curriculum Review & Development Process
New Ulm Public Schools has a well defined curriculum review and development process with a network of staff and committees working toward the goal of excellence in education. Secondary and Elementary Curriculum Advisory Committees review curricula developed on the grade level or by individual departments ensuring that the entire curriculum supports the mission of our district and is aligned with Grad Standards and includes the Profiles of Learning. In addition, a District Curriculum Advisory Committee includes members of the community to give insight and leadership from the greater New Ulm Public Schools community. These committees meet monthly. Through this network we strive for broad-based involvement in curriculum decision making.
